How to setup local user on Windows 10

For this article, I am going to show you step by step to set up a local user account on your Windows 10 computer.  This is good, if you have kids and you don’t want them to have admin access to the computer, you can set up as a standard user, it helps void getting spyware and virus to your whole system because it would have limited access to do damage to system files.  Setting up a local user on Windows 10 has been little hard and/or easy, it depends on how you look at it. If you have Microsoft account, meaning email account, like example @ Outlook.com, example @ Live.com or example @ Hotmail.com, then its best to set up with that account, so you can sync your documents, photos, video and have lots more options to share with others too.  Otherwise just follow these steps, it’s very easy.

 

  1. Go to Control Panel, then depends on your view or search for User Accounts
  1. Then Click on User Accounts>then click on User Accounts
